Drawing reference to his address after Tuesday's deadly protests, PRWG-K claimed that by alleging that only six people lost their lives, President Ruto intended to downplay the tragedy.
Out of these, 23 of the deaths were recorded between 7 am and 6 pm across the county while 30 others were recorded at night in the Githurai area.
The organisations accused the police of acting in blatant disregard to the legal provisions of the right to protest.
The organisations said the proposals are one-sided and fail to address the interests of protestors, whose act of assembly is protected by law.
