By |

Group D holds World Cup finalists France, Austria, Netherlands and the play-off winner A. The identity of the play-off winner remains unknown still. (Wales, Poland, Estonia, Finland).

Germany hosts Euro 2024 next summer, featuring 10 host cities, including Munich and Berlin. The tournament kicks off in Munich on June 14, 2024, with the final scheduled to take place in Berlin on July 14.

Let’s take a look at the groups.

GROUP A

Host nation Germany finds itself in Group A alongside Scotland, Hungary, and Switzerland. Julian Nagelsmann's team kicks off the tournament with a challenging match against Scotland, who, under Steve Clarke's guidance, has shown impressive form in the qualifiers.

Switzerland have the opportunity to set the tone in the initial match against Hungary as they could be group leaders. The most anticipated fixture in Group A occurs on the final day when Switzerland faces Germany, and it's likely to be a decisive match for the top spot.

GROUP B

In Group B, Spain, Italy, and Croatia find themselves alongside Albania. This group has captured everyone's attention, particularly with the thrilling opening match between Spain and the World Cup-semi-finalists. Italy's meeting with Albania presents a major opportunity, although the Albanians are a force to be reckoned with and could potentially cause an upset.

GROUP C

England has been pooled with Serbia, Slovenia, and Denmark in Group C. On paper, the Three Lions are expected to lead this group, having defeated Denmark on the way to the Euro 2020 final. The much-anticipated match is the England-Denmark clash, while the opening fixture against Serbia poses a puzzling task.
