Kuria assured that the exercise has been transparent, free and fair and every person who participated stands an equal opportunity to be enlisted, provided they meet the requisite conditions.

The CS reiterated that going forward, 80 per cent of all recruitments to the Army, police service, forest service and KWS will strictly be from the NYS, as emphasized by President William Ruto.

Ruto said the goal is to ensure the institution has the capacity to enroll up to 100,000 youth annually and equip them with skills for powering the Bottom-Up Empowerment Transformation Agenda (BETA).
