FKF Premier League: K’Ogalo welcome struggling Nzoia as AFC Leopards battle relegation

In another fixture at Police Sacco Stadium, KCB seeks to narrow the gap with Gor as they host FC Talanta.

Leaders Gor Mahia could widen their lead in the FKF Premier League today when they face a struggling Nzoia Sugar at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay County. Currently holding a two-point advantage over second-placed Posta Rangers with 27 points after 13 matches, a victory against Nzoia would not only secure Gor's top position but also extend their unbeaten streak to 14 matches.

K’Ogalo's impressive form recalls memories of their unbeaten league victories in the 2015 and 1976 seasons. The Jonathan McKinstry-led team aims to replicate this achievement in the current 2023-2024 season.

Despite Nzoia Sugar's challenging season, lingering in the relegation zone, Gor Mahia must remain cautious. Statistically, Gor has only managed one win in their last six encounters with Nzoia Sugar.
